The Muskegon Channel Cats 14U team earned a berth in this year's USSSA World Series by finishing 2nd at the Battle Creek "Triple Threat Memorial Day Classic". The ChannelCats posted a 4-2 record during the tournament. The Cats took home the second place trophy and individual medals in addition to a spot in the World Series. This year's USSSA World Series will be held in Canton, Michigan during the week of July 20-27. This marks the second straight year that the young Channel Cats have qualified for World Series play

• Michigan Predators 14 Muskegon ChannelCats 9
• Muskegon Channel Cats 9 Portage Prowlers 6 quarter-final game
• Muskegon Channel Cats 9 Michigan Predators 1 semi-final game
• McHenry County Hurricanes 3 Muskegon ChannelCats 2 Championship game

The Channel Cats resume league play in Grand Rapids this week before traveling to Kalamazoo for their next tournament on June 13th.
