About the ChannelCats

The Muskegon ChannelCats Baseball Club manages select youth baseball teams from the Muskegon, Michigan Lakeshore area. Our philosophy focuses on improving young players' fundamental skills from the ages of 13 to 18 years old. The ChannelCats give young athletes the opportunity to play a highly competitive schedule. Our program strives to have every player excel by working hard to improve their baseball skills. Our coaching staff, instructors and training facilities offer players the opportunity to learn from the area's best. Playing for the ChannelCats gives motivated players the opportunity to improve their playing skills while showcasing their talent at baseball fields throughout the Midwest and the nation.

The ChannelCats mission is to expose players to the best competition in West Michigan in league play and throughout the Midwest and nation in tournament play. Along with learning valuable field skills, ChannelCat players are offered the opportunity to grow as individuals. ChannelCats team members play before college and professional scouts that follow select youth teams searching for talent. Many players who have worn the ChannelCat uniform are playing baseball at the next level of competition.


The ChannelCats celebrate the rich baseball tradition and geographic location of Muskegon. The ChannelCats baseball teams are recognized throughout Michigan and the Midwest as a "first class amateur baseball operation."
